High school athletic teams often have team and individual photoshoots where they wear their team uniforms. These photos are important keepsakes for the athletes, coaches, and parents, and they should look their best in them. In this post, we’ll be discussing what to wear during a team and individual photoshoot for both boys and girls while in their team uniforms.
What to Wear for Boys:

Wear your full uniform: It’s important to wear your full uniform, including the jersey, shorts/pants, and socks. Make sure your uniform is clean and wrinkle-free.
Pay attention to details: Make sure your shoes are clean and polished. If your team wears cleats, make sure they are clean as well. You can also wear a headband or sweatband if it’s part of your uniform.
Be mindful of accessories: Wearing anything that isn’t part of your uniform, like a necklace or bracelet, is at the discretion of the coach. If they don’t care, we rarely do. If you wear glasses, make sure they are clean and free of smudges.
What to Wear for Girls:

Wear your full uniform: Just like the boys, make sure you wear your full uniform, including the jersey, shorts/skirt, and socks. Make sure your uniform is clean and wrinkle-free.
Pay attention to details: Make sure your hair is neat and out of your face. If your team wears a headband or hair tie, make sure it’s clean and matches your uniform. Your shoes should also be clean and laced properly.
Be mindful of accessories: Dont avoid wearing any jewelry or makeup that isn’t part of your uniform. Light make up is encouraged and meaningful jewelry can put an emphasis if done right. Make sure there are no hair ties (black rubber bands for hair) on your wrists, please! If you wear glasses, make sure they are clean and free of smudges.
Overall, the key to looking your best in team photos is to wear your full uniform and pay attention to the details. Make sure everything is clean and neat, and avoid wearing anything that may distract from your uniform. With these tips, you’ll be sure to have a great team and individual photoshoot.
